A highlight of Belvidere living! My family and I love this restaurant and truly look forward to every visit. The food is always well prepared with accuracy and attention to detail, even for special requests, and ticket times are low even during peak times. Service is delightfully personable and consistently abundant. We've lived here for five months and eaten at Steam Plant twenty-something times, they've never let us down. Our restaurant of choice.
Biscuits and Gravy was decent but not much kick. Sausage was about the same...good but not great. Bacon had a nice strong flavor and the eggs over medium were spot on.
The hash browns were so greasy I could hardly eat them.
Friendly staff! I always go back for the soups and good food. The staff is great with customers and always remember me when i go back! New favorite local restaurant!
Great service. And food. The Hostess was gracious and kept coffee full. An enjoyable dinner this Sunday.
The biscuits and gravy are very bland tasting, almost no sausage in the gravy.
